I developed an editorial project centred on the theme of corruption, specifically for an article about Aung San Suu Kyi. I aimed to reflect a perceived abrupt change in her character that felt underdeveloped in the original piece. I conveyed this theme not only through a cracked glass effect in the title but also through a deliberate use of colour. As you flip through the pages of the editorial, the colour palette subtly shifts, mirroring the gradual descent or revelation of corruption. To create an interactive experience for the reader, I designed the editorial with small, fragmented image shards overlaid on various elements. When the pages are correctly folded and aligned, these shards coalesce to reveal a complete image, posing a direct question about Aung San Suu Kyi's true identity. This design choice was intended to engage the viewer on a deeper, more participatory level than just visual consumption.
